This project was made possible through a contribution agreement with Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
In 2011, Syria faced a devastating humanitarian crisis, displacing millions and causing immense suffering. Canada extended a compassionate hand in 2015, pledging to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees. In 2020, we marked the five-year milestone since their arrival. As we look ahead, the Environics Institute for Survey Research conducted a nationwide study to capture the dreams and aspirations of this resilient cohort.
